Late October on the coast
The light goes amber at three in the afternoon now. I spent a week with one roll of Portra 400 and a fixed 40mm lens, which is the right amount of film for a week when the days are this short.
Small notes about walking, film cameras and northern light.

After two years of sending film to a lab, I went back to developing black and white at home. A changing bag, a steel tank and a thermometer are still all you need.
Most of the photographs I like were taken in the last ten minutes of a walk, when I had stopped trying to find anything.
